This course can be accomplished in two days.
Deep Diving is a means to an end. We do not go deep just for the sake of diving deep but we dive deep to view that deeper wreck or wall or reef.
This course prepares the diver to make the correct preparations and make the correct decisions in a relaxed and a informed way while deep diving. This course’s philosophy is learning by doing, so the course includes four deep dives. The Deep Diver Specialty opens up a new range of adventure dives.
The Deep Divers Specialty Course will cover the following principals:
- planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of deep diving
- risk factors and decompression-tables review
- safety stops and emergency decompression procedures
- special equipment, descent lines and buoyancy-control considerations
- procedures for flying after diving and high-altitude diving orientation to re-compression chambers
