The biggest moon of the year is upon us. In two days, the biggest moon of the year, read the closest, will be here, affecting certainly the currents. Called the Supermoon, and by some people on Facebook purported to be the nearest moon in a few hundred years, has produced unpredictable currents and possibly affected the weather. The waves have been pretty big as well, coming from the south and most of our dive days the currents as well.
Today I had to cancel a PADI Search and Recovery course because we could not find a place that would have fair to the student and everyone else on board. If the weather is fair in two days, in the evening take a look at the moon and wonder.
